Pergolesi Stabat Mater- Leeds Cathedral Choir and Baroque in the North

On Thursday 19 September the Senior Girls Choir of Leeds Cathedral gave a beautiful performance of Pergolesi’s Stabat Mater, along with motets by Charpentier, Monteverdi and Vivaldi.

We were particularly delighted with the fabulous solo arias from Michelle and Kumbi, and the lovely continuo playing of our Cathedral Organist Will Campbell and strings and recorders from Baroque In The North, conducted by the Director of the Schools Singing Programme, Tom Leech.
