Choirs of the Schools Singing Programme sing Vivaldi’s Gloria as part Gabrieli Roar

On Saturday 7 February,  around 150 young singers from Bishop Konstant Youth Choir, Bradford Catholic Youth Choir, Huddersfield Boys and Girls Choirs and Leeds Cathedral Choir joined professional singers and players from the Gabrieli Consort in a project leading to a fantastic concert featuring music by Monteverdi, Purcell and Vivaldi, conducted by Paul McCreesh.

It was an incredible experience for our singers to work alongside the brilliant orchestral players, vocal coaches Charles MacDougall and Emily Dickens, and to hear the outstanding professional soloists. Thank you to everyone at Gabrieli, to our staff, to our supporting schools, to our choir families and most of all our brilliant young singers!
