Parish Musicians’ Workshop Series off to a flying start

Diocese of Leeds music were delighted to welcome parish musicians from across the Diocese of Leeds to Leeds Cathedral on Sunday 6 October for a workshop on the New Lectionary and its musical implications.

Participants heard from Director of the Schools Singing Programme Tom Leech as well as participating in a vocal warm up from Choral Director Daniel Rodriguez before sampling some new psalm settings by international composer Daniel Justin.

This was the first session in a year long programme of workshops across the Diocese focusing on different aspects of leading music in worship. For more details of future workshops click here.
