Veni Emmanuel – a successful workshop for parish musicians

On Sunday 4 October over 40 people involved in parish music from across the Diocese of Leeds gathered at Immaculate Heart of Mary, Moortown, for an afternoon of inspiration and preparation for the seasons of Advent and Christmas. Led by Assistant Diocesan Director of Music, Daniel Rodriguez, participants explored repertoire for various forms of parish music groups and considered how the music they offer can enhance worship in their parishes.

This was the first in a series of planned workshops hosted by Diocese of Leeds Music and the Diocese of Leeds Faith Formation Team. The workshops are on January 31st (Advent and Easter) and March 7th (Music from Lourdes) next year. To sign up contact formation@dioceseofleeds.org.uk
