Come and Sing Faure Requiem with David Pipe

David Pipe leads a workshop day on Fauré’s ever-popular Requiem and Cantique de Jean Racine as part of the first Leeds International Organ Festival.

Singing sessions through the afternoon will culminate in a performance in the magnificent setting of Leeds Cathedral at 7.30 pm, accompanied by the Cathedral’s Assistant Organist, Caius Lee, and including Fauré’s haunting Pavane for flute and organ. This will be the first performance using Christopher Rathbone's new organ accompaniment for the Requiem.

Singers of all ages and abilities are welcome. Under-18s must be accompanied by their parent or guardian, who must remain present to act as chaperone at all times.

Timetable for the day:

12 noon - Registration

12.30-2.00 - Session 1

2.30-4.00 - Session 2

4.30-5.30 - Session 3

7.30 - Concert

Places are limited so book early to avoid disappointment.
Book via eventbrite.

Audience tickets for the 7.30 pm concert will be available on the door for £5.00.
