December 1st, 2017 - Christmas Events Newsletter

Each week the Diocese of Leeds Music Department works with over 3500 children in primary and secondary schools across West and North Yorkshire. We deliberately target those communities where musical opportunities are at their scarcest to engage children in the life-changing gifts of making music together. There are over 100 singing groups spread across 53 schools where children meet to explore new music from the sixteenth century to the present day. The children are diverse in background but united in song under the leadership of our professional Choral Directors.

At this time of the year we want to thank our many supporters that make this work possible. There is a large programme of Christmas events of which details can be found by downloading our newsletter. We look forward to welcoming you to one of these special events over the festive season. More »
