Huddersfield Boys' Choir
In November 2008 a new auditioned boys' choir in Huddersfield was founded and now has 24 members from local Catholic schools.
They sing Mass at St. Patrick's Church and have given a number of local concerts, often as the guests of other groups. They sang Mass at Nottingham Cathedral in 2009, and in 2010 were placed in the prestigious Mrs. Sunderland festival in Huddersfield Town Hall. More recently they sang Vespers at Liverpool Metropolitan Cathedral and toured to London, singing at the Temple Church and Westminster Cathedral. They sang at the Benediction of John Henry Newman, celebrated by Pope at Cofton Park, Birmingham and broadcast live across the world. They have broadcast on Radio 2 Sunday Half-Hour and live on Radio 4 Daily Service.
